Martin F. Statfeld is a twenty-five year veteran of the insurance industry and possesses substantial knowledge in all areas of health care, insurance products, and risk management.
Mr. Statfeld was a partner with Associated Insurance Brokers in Fairfield, New Jersey, which became HRH Insurance in 1996. After being named Vice President of HRH, he led the company’s Life and Group Health Benefits Division in northern New Jersey and New York. During his tenure with HRH, Mr. Statfeld was recognized for the last 15 years as the Outstanding Producer of the Year and has been a member of the Million Dollar Round Table, a life insurance association for the country’s top producers.
In April 2001, Statfeld Vantage Insurance Group was formed. The company grew to become one of the largest, independent health insurance brokerage firms in the State of New Jersey. Statfeld Vantage was then sold in March 2004 to the sixth largest brokerage firms in the United States, Brown and Brown Metro, Inc.
Mr. Statfeld attributes a majority of his success in his ability to maintain strong professional and personal relationships with his clients. His strong relationships with insurance companies have enabled Mr. Statfeld to implement plan designs and/or changes that have minimal effects on employees and drastically reduce the premiums for employers. Mr. Statfeld is able to provide brokerage services in all entities of risk management, health benefits, and general voluntary insurance.
Mr. Statfeld is the son of a Holocaust Survivor. His educational background includes an undergraduate degree from George Washington University and received his Masters Degree from Columbia University. In addition, Mr. Statfeld sits on the boards of many philanthropic organizations.
Mr. Statfeld resides in Livingston, New Jersey with his wife, Dr. Beth Leiderman-Statfeld and their two daughters, Jenna and Danielle.
